I'm the bloke who asked about mini buggy racing a while back.

Here's where we are at with the AR51s

its great to see your still keen . unfortunately the only competition will be a motor khana style event . still fun and trying . about all the p.p.e. you will require will be a pair of overalls at a minimum and a solid pair of shoes . gloves,  helmets are pretty standard and the neck brace is good to have but I don't think it is a mandatory for motorkhana. make sure you have the blue triangle for the battery and at least one 900 gramme extinguisher . and I think the standard five point harness is essential as well.

then if you hang around long enough they may let you run on a limited track at lunchtime between the heats of the proper guys .

unfortunately my trailer is still in pieces and I wont be able to finish in time to run on the weekend you mention but if you are going to go up , I can ppossibly meet you there and introduce you to ian who will smooth out some of the bumps and paper work for you .

If you click on the SORRA website at the top of this page ( or at the bottom, just underneath this post), it will open up and just under the pic showing , you will see on the right hand side info for the event. Click on that and it should give you sup regs and stuff. The date in Sup regs is wrong but all the rest of the info is all right & good. Saturday 23rd May is the right date to be there.

o.k. can meet you on site so looking forward to that.
food there is a canteen but would recommend that you bring supplies . there is a servo about five minutes back from the track and can get just about all required there .
on the main sorra site there will be an events heading and the motorkhana is listed this month . the day starts with driver training (mainly for the younger drivers among us) and then sign in and the motorkhana will get underway. usually good to get there at about 9.30.

sorry guys but something urgent has come up and I will be unable to attend on Saturday. if you like I could probably organise a practice session at the track and then do the meet and greet with you. even if there are some other groups there , we will still be able to drive in another part of the track . let me know and I will try and make this happen. I wil negotiate with ian to this effect . sorry guys

Hi Guys,
Good to see you up there .
Are you coming along to the Khanacross at Colo Park on the 5th July.
