On the class 2 we ran 24 degrees and never had a CV blowout due to angle.

Cheers

Hey jero. We're running wiht the 2thou undersized balls (in the CVs people!!!!) and they're supposed to be good for 28deg. We ran 26 in the rivvy without ever busting one.

24 degrees was the standard for the 930.
If you have no back angle on your drive shaft or use supercages , small balls , hone the races etc you can use more but as already mentioned you will seldom have a cv failure if you stick at or under 24 degrees.
Another thing to consider is the quality and quantity of limit straps you run.
Your cv angle might be 24 with the back of the car jacked up in the shed but with limit strap stretch while racing the cv angle will increase.
