side shifter


just wondering if anyone could help me out finding a side shifter for single seat buggy or put me on  to somewere i could get one. or if there is a newer way of hookin up the shifter to the box (2lt kombi), any help would be great thanks frank

All you need is to have a normal shifter and run 2 uni's on the shaft to get the angle. Keep the angle as shallow as possible. I ran the shifter down the side then across to the centre from right behind the seat in that fashion. Worked really well and will probably be the same on the new buggy.

Another option is to run selector and cables from a front wheel drive corolla. We never had a problem with it. Bob or Jason Graham from Grahams Wreckers in smithfield could sort out all the bits you need.
