after some help were would be the best place in the sydney region to get a new ecu installed to a toyota 20, are the best opitions for ecu's link or microtech.
tom, we've always used EMS for our buggies and swear by them, there at smithfield and can give you all the information to wire it yourself with ease, i wired my old 20 valve and new honda just by following their diagrams and had no problems
totally agree, we ran an old dualsport which we paid 500 for in the last car - no probs. We're now using it in the new car as well.
If you do buy a second hand dualsport make sure its either been upgraded to laptop programmable, or can be updated to laptop (ring EMS with the serial no before you buy and they'll let you know) for $120.
Doing dyno time with the handset will actually cost you more than this because it takes so long to program it by individual load points.
They're reeeeeally helpfull as well. 2204 can attest to that too. Really willing to help, especially if they know its for an offroad car.

Wolf, if your using an old dual sport on your V8 Lexus then would I be correct in saying that it's not setup as sequential?
