Drive Shafts

Its the young Cripps here not the old one.biggrin

I am in need of a new set of drive shafts for my buggy as I did a marvilous job of destroying one on the start line at Wittirin.

(Porsche Slpine - 23" long)

So I thought I would ask for peoples opinion on where they get them made/from. And for what sort of price $$$,
as I am racing on a budget that is pretty tightweirdface
Any info would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Hey Lawrence, If you want a very low budget answer, I have an odd shaft here which is of no use to me (too short). It does measure 23", porsche splines, however it has 75 mm of spline at one end & 65 mm at the other, still has circlip grooves but i think it may have been cut down from maybe a 23 1/2 or a 24. the shaft size is 25.75 mm. It has some slight damage to spline at one end that could be filed out easily. Very cheap to you. let me know.

Good... Thanks very much to Werner I have a set. We just have to measure them up at full droop to make sure they wont fall out. But should be good.

We almost have both cars ready for milbrodale. Just got re asemble, engines, gearboxes front ends, rear ends, trailers. Nothing different.

But we are working on both buggies getting up there.
