floor fuel drainage - Scruitneering checklist 31.3

hey all,

item 31.0 on the scruitneering checklist is for firewalls, item 31.3 states "Floor fuel drainage" but I cant find any reference to floor drainage in GR or SR's.  Any ideas where I can find out what this is? or could anyone tell me?

I don't think there is any mention of it in the manual but my understanding is that if fuel is spilt onto the floor during filling or if a hose splits then the fuel needs to be able to drop onto the ground. If you floor is 1 piece aluminimum with the sides folded up then you may need a hole in the floor.

Regards,

Michael
