Well, were on the road, heading over the mountains on the way to Alice!!!!

Im gonna update this thread when I can, maybe a few pics.

Cast and Crew is:
Rick and Garry in car 76
Paul and Mark-Paul and Fay in car 405
Ash, Kev, Chris and Brad coming along to either crew, or get smashed for the next 12 days.  hehe.

We're just heading through Lapstone heading for tonights stop in Cobar and wondering what specific tool/spare/brain we left behind.  :)

Goodluck all, big ask for new cars, but you never know your luck.
Enjoy the roadtrip, enjoy the atmosphere at Alice.
Again, wish I was going, but then again...that means I would need to work on the buggy!
Keep us updated best as possible, because your updates will surely be better than the Finke site!

Were at cobar bowling club waiting for steaks and into the bourbons. Easy drive today, cobar to port augusta tomorrow.

Your obviously not in any hurry, make sure you drop into Woomera, really worth a look!
Drop into coober pedy, but keep your head down or you might drop into a (opal) hole.
You might be better off stopping at Pimba for the night...Port Augusta is a bit of a s...t hole!

haha! not yet!!!! hehe.

Tested both cars today... errr... but had to find some track on the way to alice to test on.

We're now in the camp site at Marla at the other end of oooooooooddnadatttttttta. :)

Ive been informed that Swan is hanging about somewhere here in the caravan park, Rick and I will finish our beers then take a wander over and hassle him. hehe.

Made it into alice around lunchtime today, easy drive this morning. Did all the paperwork etc, then sat around the campsite on the cans. :) we're at stuart caravan pk, owned by the gwynne boys, and kev is getting stuck into the cans again. Or is that still??? Haha! He didn't finish his steak tonight tho. Very disapionting. :p

The boys are all our pre-running at the moment, just spoke to paul who "is having trouble keeping his breakfast down". Overall impression at the moment is its VERY rough!

I'm still at the campsite about to head into the public library to sit an exam for uni, all things being equal I'd still rather be out on the track!
