need to contact Driver : John Fouracre, Navigator : Geoff Nash
as i have just picked there old buggy 281 from canberra and the people who own it cant find the log book so i'm hoping on of them would be able to remember the log book number so i can get a new log book.
havnt tried cams or anything else yet my wife picked the car up last night and i'm stuck away with work for the next 2 weeks so i just thought i would see if i could sort this out while i was away i will put some more efffort in when i get home just thought it's worth a shot.
just an update cams are unable to help with finding the cars log book as they need the log book number which i don't have. i have found the original for sale ad for car 281 and a number for john fouracre but he is currently away and i will have to try again next week.
what i was wanting to know how far back to clubs keep the records of what cars raced and the cars details as cams is unable to help as the last race was 2002 don't keep records on race for more then 7 years and all the log books are filed in number order so i need the number to get a new log book. i can apply for a new log book but the car won't meet new regs and there for would need to be rebuild which would cost more then its worth.
anyone who may be able to find the log book number from paperwork from old races that would be great i want to get this sorted.
the buggy is currently being fully rewire and setup with new ecu also road lights and trip meter this will take a little long then first hoped but will be worth it in the end.
i want to have the log book so as soon as the wiring is sorted i can get racing.

well just an update i have contacted geoff and john this week.
geoff was able to give me johns number and i spoke to john he is going to look thought a large amount of old paper work for me and hopefully find the log book number also going to forward me more photos and history of the car so worst case is i will know more races it has been in and beable to track it's history a bit more.
Hello What do you need, I have all details on an original entry form for an event at Bagshot dated 18/7/1999. Could not find the event you had info on, was rearranging the shed in a futile attempt to make more room and came across paperwork for earlier events which I was secretary for. Regards
i would like to thank every one that has helped me track down the log book number a big thanks to john orr for going through his shed and finding the old entery form with the detail on it.
now to send some paper work to cams and make it all happen. very happy now just have to get the wiring done and then it will be all go.
