In my search to rectify overheating subaru engines, I have spoken to many so-called radiator experts.
But I just wanted to recommend 'AUSSIE DESERT COOLERS' in victoria.
I had not heard of them until recently, but they have been around a long time, very knowledgable, and reasonable price.
Norm (owner) used to race off-road years ago, and was the only fabricator who agreed in principal and was willing to build a multipass radiator to what I wanted (he actually builds most of his radiators that way) ......unlike some other fabricators who stick to the 'status-quo'!
PWR build them in house just built me a new one from drawing to delivery 6 days im also in thier fab department weekly so i can debunk the china theory
Steve my Torana has a 350 chev it had a standard type 4 core radiator it would run hot usually around 190F but in traffic it would go 210F Every year we went to summernats if you have been there you will understand we did 1-2 laps and it would go 220-240F Then last year while down there i put a PWR cross flow radiator in it and we couldnt get it over 185 it would cool down to 175 then up to 185 fan comes in back to 175 i would back there stuff 100%
Yes i know its not off road but its proof . Quality is 100%
I can assure everyone that they build all their radiators themselves and their plate and tube is made in the USA they sold their mass production plant at currumbin a while ago but even then they were all built inhouse not outsourced
