What brakes to use Trik front alloy hubs

Hi,

I would like to know what front disk callipers people are using with Trik alloy hubs with only a gap of 28mm max to fit the calliper in?

I run a Kawasaki Road Bike Caliper on the front with my Trik hubs and they work pretty good.

my rivmasta is fited with commodore rear calipers on trik front hubs and discs ,
they have full pad contact , and you can get some really good race pads to suit ,

i've had a few mates in my car that have motor bike calipers on there buggys
and after using mine they have changed these to the same ,

We used Kawasaki on our Rivvy as well, off a 900 cruiser of some sort.

Kawasaki front nissan pulsar rear both trick hubs, whatever you deside to run the most important thing is the front to rear bias.

* Did you have to grind away much of the Commodore calipers to make them fit ?
* Does this weaken them too much ?
* How long have you been running yours ?

mines got trik drop stubs fitted ,
with sway a way studs

they have had a small amount ground away just where the studs rotate past the brackets ,only
they where fitted to the car when i brought it from bob mobray
his son ashley had been racing it a few years before i got it ,

i dont think they have been weakened ,
as at hyden 08 i broke a stub ( wright stub )and the disc bent but the caliper and bracket's didnt ,
i have an 8 mm adapter plate from the combo flange to the caliper bracket
which is centered on the disc rotor

there easy to get pads for , even on race weekends
there are some good pads around for them also ,
