This is not race car related but has anyone out there replaced a fuel filter on an 07 diesel Holden Captiva, the 60,000km service calls for it & looking at it closely it looks all but impossible without dismantling half the car. How long does it take (I dont car what the book says, reality will do) any hints?
I unfortunately work on 2 captivas, I cant believe some of the crap they let into the country! As yet I have not changed the fuel filters, but am interested to know more? Maybe they should be added to my 'not allowed in the workshop' list, along with volvos, mercs, bmw, etc.
Yes it would almost be worth the time to change the badges on someones car to see how long it took for them to notice. I'm sure you could doctor the badges quicker than changing a fuel filter.

It looks like I'm just going to quote first, as best as I can tell should be about 2 hours labour, some broken clips, some broken skin, some new words invented, how ridiculous just for a fuel filter.
