I have had a couple of puncture-tyre damage problems in my last even. I was wondering:- * What tyres are consided to be the best? * What pressure should I be running? * Which is the way to go - tubes or tubeless
the best - some would say BFG projects with you have the $$
myself i run bfg kms muddies but have also had a punture , but than again ive seen project get punctures to ! air pressure varriey on track surface , higher for rocky tracks
tubless on a one peice rim eg btr's beadloced and non tubed on a two peice rim eg centerlines , as the air can leak between the 2 halfes
i've been thinking of running tyre slime on my next set to see if it helps with small holes

it's not the speed of life that scares me, it's the sudden stop at the end ,
I run Cooper discoverer STT and have not had a problem. don't bother with anything else, Cooper's are the best. I run 31x10.5 on the back, around 20-25 psi depending on the track, and tubes. I was under the impression that it was illegal to run without tubes in off road.
You can run tubeless you just have to have a metal valve cap....did I say that out loud?
I have run BFG's nearly my whole adult life and cannot fault them unless I did something silly. I now run tubeless with beadlocks and Slime. It has brought me home twice when I have had a puncture.
