Gears

Can anyone give me a name of a company that will cut gears for a Porsche gearbox. I have talked to Albins already and they are to busy to do a one off job. It is a porsche  Boxster 986 5 speed box. I want to re-race it or have a different crown wheel and pinion made for it.

Thanks F.O.R. What l have come up with is an Audi deisel 4.875 C&P that will work in this transmission. We will be the guinne pigs for this transmission but if it works everyone who wants a cheap 5 or 6 speed will benifit. Transmission $1000, C&P and Gaskets $1000 and fitment to transmission will be $1000. It has 930 drive flanges as standard, it is an inboard type box but can be safely run upside down so as to be used as an outboard. There are already adaptors available for toyota V8's and subaru engines and we will be having a honda adaptor built as well.

If you have any trouble call Dave at Bosnjak. These guy's make all types of gears and axles for Porsche, v8 supercars, off roaders and many other applications.
They're at Wetherill Park in Sydney.

Does anyone know if progress was made with the Audi/Porsche transaxle set-up for mid-engine?
