Just putting out feelers to see if and when we should or could be holding another biennial scrutineering day for the guys that weren't quite ready for the last one.
you need to have one if you want to race your car this year or indeed again.
If you are intending to sell or update to a newer car it must make it easier for the buyers as well.
If you have a date or idea on when we should be trying for ,let us know? Pm or ring me to give us something to work towards.
With only a couple of weeks to go to the State Round at Crookwell, seems like all the pre 2000 cars have all had their Biennial Scrutineering done.
I know Dick offered to have cars done down their before the Ray Vestey Race, I'm not sure if that offer is still on, but I have not heard of any others that are ready wanting to be done.
If you are intending to compete at Crookwell after Easter and your car hasn't had its Biennial Scrutineer , you will not be able to run.
It won't be able to be done at the event itself, so please get yours done so we can see you running at Crookwell
There will be a Biennial Inspection held at the Bridgestone Tyre Centre in Kempsey from 8am Sunday May 1. Phone David Spokes on 6562 8080 during business hours to book in.
ps : Sorry for the late notice : been real busy.....

We have recieved a request for another biennial inspection before Milbrodale. If anyone else needs thier cars done, let us know so we can organise the date to suit. It will be done at A & K Automotive at Kellyville. ring this no to be included 0407 774 348
Just floor and panels off and maybe seats out if you can .
for cars built before 2000 . are you able to do it on a Monday evening 1 or 2 weeks away. there is about 4 that I know of ,so if we can organise them for the one date it would be nice
Just have to check with Gav24 to see when he is ready for his ( when? Gav)
im trying to smash mine together at the moment warren has my fuel tank atm changing it so i can put a x in the rear hoop.i thought the seats had to be in? also does the whole frame get checked or is it just from the rear hoop forward cause im replacing some of the rear of the car also atm wondering how much needs to be back together to get it checked
next year I would think. already done this years lot.
If you you haven't managed to get to any of the four already done, the next way to do it is to organise a silver scrutineer and pay the fee to get it done.
You will find a list of silver scrutineers in the CAMS manual or on the CAMS website
Apparently I lied, I can't find it either.
Ring Simon or Doreen at CAMS , your NSW contact and ask for the list or your nearest ones.
the number is1300 883 959
I had a list but can't find it. I'll keep looking.

I'd like to think there would be more oportunities for biennial inspections. I'd hate to think we were compromising the potential for as many cars to hit the track as possible.
I have a car to be inspected which I am hoping to race at Colo 16-17 June, register here if you would be interested in have ane done in the Narellan area in around 3 weeks time. if there is real interest I will try to organise a place and scrutineers for a particular day.
