SORRA are holding a race meet at their Colo Heights track on Sunday 26th June. The members of SORRA have again been nice enough to allow mini buggy owners and SMBC (Sydney Mini Buggy Club) members track time in between heats and so forth of the larger buggies and trucks. This is only a social event for mini buggy owners but a great opportunity for some legal time on a great track with the safety of marshals and recovery vehicles. The mini buggies will be using the Giddy Giddy track which although is shorter than the other track is quite technical in areas. People wishing to attend must be there by 7.00 am at the latest for briefing.
Can all of those people wishing to attend with buggies, please place a post on this forum or on the edge products forum. Sorra must have final numbers for mini buggies by Friday the 17th of June.
Once again this is a great opportunity for all mini buggy owners to get together and play in the dirt and show their support for the growing club. Without the support of everyone this club wont ever become anything.

Hi Mick, there is camping available at the track saturday night. the track is on the putty road 62km past the windsor bridge.
you will need full race attire eg overalls and helmets and the vehicle willl have to pass a scruitineering inspection to ensure it is safe to hit the track.
You will need neck to ankle to wrist coverage non flamable and a helmet. . Other than that it is a Social meeting for you guys, not a race meeting but you will still get in lots of laps on dirt circuit, just no timing. A great chance to play legaly and meet other members of SMBC
Having been to a couple of meets in the past they are predominantly look for the overall safety of the buggy. No exposed wires, nuts and bolts are tight, frame isn't cracked, brakes work and just overall condition of the buggy.
There are a couple of motels in windsor but i'm not sure what side of the putty rd you are coming from?
If you have been getting some seat time and the basic requirements such as brakes, Roll over protection, window nets or wrist restaints are in place you will be Ok.
There will be plenty of people willing to help you if anything is suspect anyway.
rear cartrdige is in, need to get chain joiner, as well as fit brake line bleed brake. and then replace steering wheel. and do a few little hobs and i ready to rock and roll i think :::)
I'm really sorry to say that I wont be able to make it tomorrow due to an emergency that has just happened. I definitely wont be able to make it with my buggy but I will try to make it up there just to say hello and have a look around but even then Im not too hopeful.
Once you all arrive if you just go and see Ian irons he will take care of you and get you started.
Once again I am really sorry and I feel pretty bad as I was sort of driving this forward and now I cant make it.
Anyway have fun guys and I will check in with yo guys to see how it went.
P.S I will still be on the mobile if you guys need any directions or anything else.
well made it home, was a good day, would like to thank SORRA for there help. in making this a great day for us. was a bit of a shame about the mix up of the track booking, but still i had fun, have also started the official process, so we can get our own thing going.
once a again big thanks. it a pitty we had little numbers but as time goes on i sure they will grow. hopefully, we can get this mini buggy club sorted.
