Live updates for baroota

no

whats the deal with not being allowed to offroadrush.com.au not being allowed to broadcast?

offroadracing.com.au has been supporting our sport for years, why would our organisors not support them?  Is it a legal issue? financial?

Its hard to see someones hard work go down the drain. When no one was broadcasting the races live offroadracing.com.au stepped into the breach and made it work. Now someone in thier wisdom at AORC must have thought it was easy so they have tried but as of up to now have failed dismaly but that seems to be the way in offroad racing. Dont get me started on the TV coverage now it seems that if you want you can advertise your business on the SBS coverage of the championship its all well and good if they are sponsors but wouldn't that be in the credits not in a segmant on the show. Will there be another conflict of interest in the next telecast.

Agreed - tis crap. Live commentary was great with offroadracing.com.au.

AORC needs to have a look at what was in place before and at the very least match it. Pissed off, I cant even get a cyber dose of dust and petrol.

I have got access to the coverage on aorc.com.au but it is imtermitent. Cant say I am even getting enough continous commentarey to form an opinion of the commentators!

Very dissapointing compared to previous offerings.

Offroadracing.com.au is not doing the timing so they wouldn't be involved in the broadcast without that deal.

I tried to get on to the coverage with no luck, found out alot more info on offroadracing.com.au than i could on the aorc site. I guess they figure "if it ain't broke give us time and it will be" no  Give it back to offroadracing.com.au !!!!!!!!!!

Offroadracing.com.au still have the most up to date results from Baroota yet they`re not even officailly covering the race??? How does something like this happen, we are supposed to be taking steps forward not backwards.

I will NOT be going to aorc.com to view any commentary or results.

I support offroadracing.com.au 100% and will be using their site to view the results

The team at offroadracing.com have done a fantastic job over the years of providing not only the commentary but fast, reliable information on our sport and do it RIGHT!!!

I do hope this is a one off and aorc.com realise they are better off leaving it to the professionals

This has absolutely nothing to do with AORCOm. This was a decision taken by the organisers and facilitated by ORRInc via AORC.com.au .

 Thanks Dan.

I'm left scratching my head (like alot of us I guess) as to why ORRInc would setup aorc.com.au when offroadracing.com.au is already so successfull.  Why wouldnt they just invest/support offroadracing.com.au and point the aorc.com.au domain name to offroadracing.com.au?  Surely this would make more sense in both a financial and marketing point of view?

Honestly, I dont think that anyone could do it better, so why spend the $$$ to4 try?  Just jump on the bandwagon! haha!

Orrinc or the Aorc did not push this, the club that ran the Baroota event chose not to have offroadracing.com.au do the live coverage from their event.

The Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro will have full live coverage on Offroadracing.com.au.

i think that an event being thrown together with such late notice probably had many other things to think about first. Maybe next year.

What a shame that this is the only thing everyone will remember about one of the best events i have been to. Hayden Bentley ,his wife and all the helpers did an unbelievable job to get this all together in a very short time and the Well"s brothers did a great job commentating all weekend.

But some one will have to live with the bad decision on this when offroad .com have done such a great job over the years and Rusty could have shared the microphone to liven it up for the crowd ( What a shame)

Great to hear your positive words gary. I could not imagine putting the event together in the timeframe that they needed to. Sounds like a job well done!

Just a quick one to back up what Garry has said. We travelled down just to have a look and talk to a few people about trucks and stuff and couldn't have had a better weekend. The facilities for the competitor and spectator were top notch and the best i have seen in a long time. The pits even had a concrete washbay and 2 hoses. I could go on but won't. I will definitely be planning to go next year in the new truck.
