Nabiacrace makes final round at COLOmore exciting
The results from the Nabiac round of the NSW Off Road Championship is making the last round at COLO PARK a must do round for quite a few cars in a number of classes.
In Class 8 (alright, Im old) 879 Steve Logan,804 Ian Hedley & 831 Lucky Matusi all have torun to qualify each of them for State points and then any one of them can take the Class title.
In Performance 2WD 504 Jan Hedley only has a 5 point lead over the 510car of Murray Collins. Extreme 4WD has Kristy Hedley out in front but minor placing's will be sorted outbetween 481 Marty Del Santos, 420 Daniel Attard and maybe Paul Grant.
In the Sportsman Class, 366 Billy Standing has a good lead but not safe from 358 Katherine Wellings & 335 Gary Hyde who could upset the apple cart. Ally Howells & brother Joshua in 305 & 306 will be racing forSORRA club Championship after being denied the opportunity to double enter their Buggy inState rounds other than Crookwell & Sydney. If the 304 car of Alisha Crowe front up there will be three young ladies competing in the one class. Super 1650 class has 220 Anthony Lia a clear Winner but 279 Derek Rose will have a fight on his hands with 247 Mark Cowie for 2nd . The 247 car will also have to keep his eye on the 241 car behind him, of Carl Calcagno who ,if there are any problems with 279 or 247 could find himself with a 3rd spot.
In Pro Lite Class, 190 David Nikiforoff is vulnerable to the 116 , Michael Spokes car if he has any hiccup at all and the next four cars in this class are all in her with a chance to take the 3rd placing silverware for the State. These are 111 Mark Sankey, 114 Jimbo Kearle , 148 Phil Page & Jono Patterson. Also in this Class are two more cars that need to compete in this round to qualify for points and they also could be in contention for3rd. They are the 140Gary Simpson car & the 196 machine of Craig Anderson.
In the Pro Class four vehicles are in a position to take number 1 spot. 94 Rikki Hedley has a slender lead over 985 Peter Sowter, 19 Justin Guy,and 66 Malcolm Bird. Andagain, any problemswith the lead 4 and 996 Murray Bignell & 26 Glenn Spizzo might be looking at a class podium.
