King Pins

Hi, All

I am upgrading from 18mm Link Pins to 22mm. I have all the hardware. Appart from Kingpins now. As I assumed I could press the 18mm bush out and press the 22mm bush in. And Waahhhlaaa... I could use the Combos i have. I dont know why I thought that work. As of course it doesnt.

The holes machined in the Kingpin are to small for a 22mm bush. So question is... Do you have to go Bigger Dia Kingpins? Or can you buy the same Dia Kingpin just with a biger hole machined in it for the bush?

Thanks All,

LSC

Thats what I was hoping for... But no go for my King Pins. They perhaps are an older style of King Pin with a different hole size?

YEH, YEH,, geez Scott, you should be wealthier than me, radio and newspaper personality, and a major automotive workshop on the coast?

But I do reckon overall an a-arm car front end has MUCH less maintenance, therefore saving you money, so that you can buy an a-arm car.....makes sense l.o.l.

i think its the old saying, you only cry once, the amount of money you spend repairing, updating or just trying to make it better adds up to alot more than you first think, its easier to spend hundreds over time than to cough up thousands in one hit,the a,arms still cost a lot in maintenance your just not driving it enough,,,
