Here are a few progress pics of the pro buggy that I'm currently getting built by Jonathan and the team at Brenthal Industries. If all goes to plan I will race it over there in the BITD Silver state 300 on the first weekend of May.
Thanks DMK, the quality of their cars are amazing. We are flying out this weekend to watch the mint 400 in Vagas and check out the progress of the car, so I will post some more pics when we are there.
A few more pics of where it was at when we left on 29/3. Starting to look like somthing now with most of the parts from king and Fortin turning up just waiting on the engine plate which should be finish tomorrow, it has taken a while to design due to being the first VK56 plate Fortin have done, then they can mount the engine and build the exhausts using the spare engine as the race engine wont be finished untill next week. A busy few weeks ahead to have it finished by end of the month.
car is looking great (too good to race lol) keep up the updates im enjoying them ,4 weeks to finish car for first US race ,hope all goes well NISSAN power
Car looks amazing Glen, Those boys know how to put together a great vehicle. Look forward to seeing it and all the best in your first race with it over there. Cheers, Luke
I'm hoping to have it back home in time for Milbrodale.
Unfortunately I have had to make a change in the engine that is going into the car due to some hold ups with vendors and there is no possible way the car will be ready if I run the Nissan so now it will have a 550hp Ls2 package fitted for the race over there and the rest of this year and I will fit the Nissan over our Christmas break.
should get some more pics this week which I will post when I get them.
Nice car Glen. Good luck getting everything organised in time. You should have a ball racing over there it was the best thing i have done. Carnt wait to see the rest of the pics and the car race over here. Cherrs Andy
