hey mick, i was talking to a mate at toyota, and the hilux v6 and aurion v6 are made different try find a aurion v6 they stronger. so i guess it was a rod out the side that sucks

i would look at the 1uz engine, cheaper and easier to find and they are a lot stronger still a 4ltr but a quad cam v8

makes more power then your current engine, and they were designed for some big race in states. hence the 6 bolt mains etc.

it makes 260hp and that first model like link above.
they put vvti later on and power went to 290hp

hilux v6 is 4 litre, aurion is 3.5, aurion is definetely the choice out of the 2 inmy opinion....Kluger slightly higher again (about 10 kw)
