bushfire at colo

It looks like we got lucky, the Howes Swamp fire looks to have burnt across the putty just a few km's north of the track.  The Mellong Valley fire is still burning though and may be a threat depending on the wind direction.

Sure did. From The top of Melong to Tinda Creek and further down the road. All on the other side. There is a fire over the back of Tinda Creek, heading towards Webs Creek.. But as long asthe wind does the right thing, all is well for the State round.
Anyway, if you want to check it out. We are having a working bee at COLO Park this weekend. To get everything ready for the last rounds of the State Championship, the SORRA Club Championship and the final Rnd of the SCOR Masters. Still a bit to do ,if you can make some time to come up and give a hand , it will be appreciated. Many hands make light work. I heard that somewhere.
Don't be shy, come along & take part. We'll feed & water you,
