we had a minor bingle at the pines in 2012, since that one my wife invested in a necks gen and she swears by it. I tried it at sealake naving in an ext 2wd and not only do I think its a safety device it also prevents fatigue as your neck feels a lot fresher the next day. you do lose some visibility laterally and obviously your movement is limited a bit but its worth it in our opinions
Bloody smart idea looking into one, i wont get into a car without one now, i ran a hans for years and it has been great however when you get out of the car, getting back in can be a pain in the ass. My navagator George uses the Simpson Hybrid which he really likes, i find the chest straps ect a bit much. On a recent trip to the states i tried the new 2014 necksgen rev and its killer, when i got back i ordered one through cam ritchie at racer imports, its quite small and fits really nice. some more info - www.necksgen.com/
Ive been using a Hans device for about 9 years now, I don't even notice I have it on once racing. I would recommend one to everyone that gets in a race car!
