Just trying to get a idea off the cams manual about roll cages. Iam going to start a class 4 truck but the manual is saying I have to use 44mm for main hoop and 38mm for lateral bars but comes in under table J-1 sports and touring cars. So my question is can I use 38mm for it all or will I need the 44mm for rear main hoop? Only ask as I only have a 38mm bender and did not want to buy a die set to do 2 bends.
if I was building a new car I would use a no less then 44mm 2.6 or 3mm and a class 4 truck with the size of some of them I would use 50mm 3mm. look at what the USA car builds do.
