I use a car alarm siren nice and loud

It really doesn't matter what you use, they are pretty well impossible to hear over a rear engine vehicle.

lots of buggys running the hella supertones,bout $60 dollars a pair,i got mine off ebay direct from india for $40 dollars

We run a emergency services siren. Purchased about 15 years ago!

Not that it helps. :p Its only useful for scruitneering and very slow sections of track.
