Congratulations to the three SORRA cars & team members that went to the first National round at HYDEN Bruce Chapman a 2nd outright,Buddy & Kerry Crowe 4th outright and Brad Prout who was also up there until the electric's gave him some problems. WELL DONE from the rest of us who would like to have been there(even as lugage)
Congratulations also to Danny Auricht on his 1st AORC Outright win, very well deserved and good to see a new face on the top step of the podium. Great efforts also from Joe Bulmer who was looking good for 4th outright, maybe even 3rd outright until the starter motor problem and Cameron McClelland in the new Class 2 car who was as high as 6th outright at one stage. Apart from Eric Phillips consistent drive to finally pick up a deserved 3rd outright, the much hyped challenge from the West Australians was a dismal failure. Hopefully we will see some of the West Aussies continue on to contest the remainder of the AORC this year?
