DP-4

Ive got a few versions of DP movies at home... funnily none of them about offroad... Oh well..

Jumped onto thje Dezert People site and checked through the gallery of photos/screenshots from DP4 only to find a few familiar cars...  Danny Auricht, Grahame Lees, Terry Rose...

Im wondering if this is the work of Shane Hutt (currently leading the NSW champs)...  I seem to remember talking (blearily) to him whilst trying not to fall over (blearily) in the middle of the (bleary) main street of Warilda last year.  But I dont really remember...  Can anyone verifiy?

Not sure what DP movies Garrys talking about, but I managed to get a copy of DP-4 on the weekend-Its awesome!!

Shane Hutt has done the Australian off-road racing community proud, by sending
footage from Warialda, Milbrodale, Kempsey and other National events, which has
been compiled into a full chapter dedicated to Australia.
Well done Shane, best part of the whole DVD!!

yes i know that sucks that they only show a few cars, but i sent over an hours worth of vision and thats what they came up with! myself and outerbounds have discussed doing an australian version with heaps more cars on it. do you think it would sell ? as most people just want to buy 1 and then everybody they know just dubs it.

Put me down for one too DD

Judging from the way DP4 was selling up at Milbrodale on the weekend, I don't think
everybody would be dubbing it. I certainly would not lend it to someone to copy after I
payed for one...

...who knows, a bit of extra cash may help to fix that crashed race car in the shed...

I'd pre-order and pay for one too, esp after seeing the short but good job done (that your work OBR?) with the hyden vid.

Most guys I know who have vids of Milbrodale, colo, crookwell etc are purchased not burnt to encourage more vids to be made.  I know mine are.

As for DP4 - I thought it was a great section!  They were never going to use all the footage, its great just to see some Aussie content on there so well done DD for taking the time and initiative to send it over.

Kudos.  We salaam in the mud at your feet.

Its a shame they omitted the little bit following 937's exit from Warialda. I have seen it before & the bit they cut out really captured the moment.

Following the departure from the vehicle, & damage surveyed, a few items were "gently" placed on to the ground.
