Sad to see Richard & Garys' "classic" Rivmasta end its days against a tree. Richard & Gary seem both OK but unfortunately the Rivo is bent like a banana. Time for a new car. The Rivmasta which was originally built by Harold Gill in 1982 and raced by John Fawbert from 83 did its job well after collecting a tree through the front hoop at around 90 kph. Both Richard & Gary walked away from the wreck. Special mention to Dick Allport who stopped to lend assistance, possibly costing him 2nd Outright.

you got it in one dust... we're very, very appreciative of Dick's efforts... and he didnt even ask us to fix the 10m of fence or strainer post we ripped out on the way through!

The RGR race report will be up on our site and the main offroad site in the next few hours - the SORRA race report will be up by weeks end.

We'll be back! bigger and faster!!!! Riv.

Yes it was a BIG hit, thank god that Rick and Garry are ok. A big thank you to Dick Allport and his navigator for stopping and to the Crookwell recovery crew for their quick response and assistance.

Yeah mate - we're now rated as a larger threat the environment than the drought!
