At the mo the NSW Long Course is MMC. Top event too. But with Wittitrin, MMC and Warialda all over 200km, why not combine the 3 events into the NSW Long Course Championship and give them a little more prestige?

One problem though is that a long course is specified as an event with a lap distance over 15km, not the total distance of the event. Wittitrin is 14.9km per lap or there abouts so is classified as a short course event.
I'm sure we could find another .1 km out there somewhere. If you ask Slow to do a lap around there to measure the distance of the track you could probably stretch it out to 50 or 60kms..hee hee!!
Its just a suggestion. I'll bring it up at the next SORRA club meeting and if there's enough interest our rep will take it to the NSW board so it can go back to the other NSW clubs for discussion. (Democracy at work!) As Az said, Im sure an extra 100m could be found at Wittitrin.
