This weekend should be the outcome of the debate of what will guide our sport going forward.


I hope there's a 4ltr class, provisions for class 3 at state remain, as do provisions to run a class 9 division in NSW state.


We'll know on Sunday - no doubt a whole new set of debates will start here, in sheds, on phones, at tracks etc.


No matter what the result, were running a 4ltr be it at national or state level, we'll still be on track having just as much fun as we did with the rivvy!

Garry, are you saying that it will be AORCom that decides on the proposed class structure not the competitors?

My understanding is that they take into advisement all comments forwarded to them regarding the original proposal for discussion and accept/decline/modify the proposal based on those comments.


How was that for a diplomatic answer!  haha!

Just heard that next year the classes ARE changing.... as we all sort of expected. This is a low down of the format
 
Class 2 will stay the same
Class 1 will be limited to 3.5lt naturally aspirated
New Class Open any 2 digit # - 3.5lt upto 6lt
and Class 9 will be amalgamated into either Class 1 or the Open Class.

However, I think your "good source" is a little off on this one.

Guess we will have to wait for the AORcom to let us know officially, which we all hope wont be to far away.
