Just after some feedback on a night race for Sydneys Round of the NSW Championship,


Who's for  something to make the  Sydney round different from the rest.

Personally I think its not a bad idea - as long as we start it as soon as it gets dark and its only one heat so it doesnt drag late into the night.

We'de need to get the grader registered as class 8 and the water truck registered as class 5!

It wouldnt be a 12 hr anyway... it'd boil down to last car left running!

The Idea is to keep the cars & the drivers going for the Twelve hour's, NOT to eliminate as many as possible to see who's left (although having said that, sometimes thats what happens)But I like the idea, We should have a go at it one weekend.

After the last working Bee,.  the F4 has more bumps.


Just cause your building a new car ,you want us to postpone the  COLO 24hr for you to test at  EH!

phantom sorry writers: one beer one lap last one person to finish each lap must scull dregs.


{we will be at the gidy gidy track on deck chairs drinking booze.}


while the night race is on gary,rick&ivan will still be machining up there last aluminium hub.


& also the boys will still be waiting to wire up their car.


& also matt will still be building his car if he is not at griffith watching.

the phantom sorra writers strike again!

actually - I love the idea of a beer race... 10 laps, 10 beers, and an official in the nav seat to ensure the driver doesnt puke - instant disqualification if he does!

Another idea... how bout a blinds mans race? Driver is blindfolded and the navigator gives him directions for left, right, faster, slower! (Rick and I have actually competed in these before!!! pretty funny!)

or.... how bout soccer with a big steel ball? (Ive seen it done!) CAMS may take a dim view of these events though...

and yes, we probably would be doing something to keep building the new car!

Were u at the Waco Bush Bash when we did the blindsmans race? Think of any other goulburn events we could use??? Not the beer skull comp or the can crush though!!! we start doing those events we'll have to change the name from Wolf to D.V.D.A.!

YEH MY NAME IS B????? I AM 12 YEARS OLD AND I THINK YOUS ARE ALL GIRLS SO RACE WITH NO LIGHTS ON AND SEE HOW HARD IT IS GIRLS.BUT PAUL RITCHEY WILL NEVER HAVE HIS CAR FINISHED IN TIME BEFORE HIS 60 YEARS OLD BUT MINE IS HEAPS FASTER THEN HIS.

I Know, why don't we have a pit crew race. Every lap the driver does the crew has to drink a JIM BEAM can before they come around for the next lap. I think that's a great idea, i think Ivan would be in that.

Thats an awesome idea - and CAMS cant complain about it either!!!

I'll bring it up in general business at Wed nights club meeting... Now that's team work! V8supercars have pit stops to include the crew - we'll have drink stops!

Ok the serious side of things. I like the idea of a night race but as Garry said only one heat in the dark. simple fact is there is to much Jim Beam to drink Saturday night and we have to start early so we can get to bed before sunrise.
