what are some of the bennifts of being self employed in regards to racing ?

I'd noted in the CAMS manual section 2. Manditory tubes. It has a simple cross going fore aft and across the cage. I wondered if turning it 45 degrees and forming a considerably stronger X in the floor was acceptable. The "optional tubes" do not offer it as an option.

What is the best way to over take a race car in our sport. I find the best way is to give the other car a little rub to let them know that you are there. Then most people pull over when it is safe. What do other people think.
