RE: FOA shocks

I have just recieved my FOA shocks, they arrived just 10 days after ordering and look great, can't wait to install them on the car.

Thanks to Kev for constantly updating me on their progress, and all the advice he has given. Great service and can't beat the price

Off to the shed now to build some shock mounts.

Yea, that's was almost a fluke though. Most of the Aussie orders end up taking at least 2 weeks. Thanks for the good words!!

We are working on a piggyback reservoir now. Kevin will have pics of the first ones next week. Here's a sneak peak of the basic idea.....

Here's a longer lower rod end we made for a customer. We'll offer them as an option soon.

I've had numerous questions lately concerning what type of piston we use. Here's a few pics to help out. Below you see 3 pistons. From left to right..Fox, King Pre-runner, FOA. Both compression and rebound sides.
The pic of our piston only has 1 bleed hole in it, but the shocks come with pistons with 3 bleed holes. Any questions?

(thank you Offroad-Engineering.com for the Fox/King pics.)

Yep. We do a high pressure casting for a few pieces. Keeps the cost down without sacrificing performance.

Its been a while since l posted any shock info so l will tell you that the bypass should be ready for sale in about a month and the bump stops now have a striker pad fitted. Also there is a photo of a set of custom black shocks that if they get enough interest in will become a permanent option.
Also there have been a few FOA equiped cars racing in the southern states all with positive feed back so if you see the crews ask them for thier honest opinion and you will be pleasantly surprised with the bang you get for your buck.

Before the end of the year FOA Shocks wil come in a 2.0 series in coilover and smooth body. These shocks will be perfect for beam type cars. If you thought that the 2.5 bodied shock was a good price you will be amazed with the 2.0 price. All you club racers will be able to get that bit more perfomance we all chase and be able to do your own rebuilds and tune the shock to your own requirements. l have so much faith in the FOA product that not only will l be running the FOA 2.5 coilover, bypass and bumpstops on the back of the Dogs Life Racing Prolite but l will be running the FOA 2.0 series on the front of our A/arm car.
