Class 5 must use original chassis rails. Which means your limited with front end wheel travel. Where as class 4 is a full tubular frame with body panels bolted onto it. Travel you can get between 18 to 20 inches of wheel travel. The more travel you get the better, but remember with more travel you have, the bigger shocks you will need to use. Both classes you are limited to a 6 litre engine.
