SwayAWay calculators?

Anyone know how accurate they are to the real world?

http://www.swayaway.com/calculators/swayawayCalc.php

We're gonna use these as the basis for our setup - wondering if anyone else has crunched the numbers and come up something similar to what they run.

Wolf FOA shocks have a good calculator based on the swayaway one but has a few added extras as well. All the feed back that has come from customers has been good so far. Have a look and let me no what you think.

Wolf, I used it to set up my last buggy and they were within 25 pounds of what I ended up using.

I used the sway-a-way site and found that the rates it was giving me were huge!!!!!! like 585/800 for the rear!!!

used the foa site (which is actually the original version of the swayaway calculators) and got much more realistic numbers, but had to take a few guesses for shock angle etc. But the foa site seemed alot more like what I would have expected.

basically, I dont think the new swayaway calculators are trustworthy, stick to the old ones! Does anyone even make an 800lb spring!!!

I'll take the final numbers the foa site gives me and compare the numbers to other racers and see how it compares.

Next question... stay tuned for dumb questions regarding the black art of shock valving...
