51 Jeff Thomas 1st outright followed in by 260 the Horsfalls with son Dan having a go at the navigating for the first time( Mum and son shared the job) and the third spot outright 510 was Martin Jones & Ernest Coleman in the class 5 Comma, dore. Good Job boy's. See ,Like Uncle Bob Stansfield keeps telling us."To finish 1st ,first you have to finish" Matt McKerihan in his pride and joy 261 bought it home 4th outright ,2nd class 2. The first time Matt has gone all the way since beginning his off road racing. His wife and soon to be baby were there to bear witness at this most auspicious occaission,(Gee's there big words The Juniors , 1st was (507) Mark-Paul Grant & 2nd (517) Ben Palk both abley navigated by thier Dad's , ran the same course as everybody else, both came home finnishing all the laps, the last of the field to do so,thus taking 5th & 6th possy outright. The boys aquitted themselves well and the time difference between them at the end of the weekends 92.8 Klms racing was not a lot. Kelvin Hill was leading the way until a small mistake caused him a little pain,he went home to recover, not returning to play on the Sunday. His wife told me,it was so he could play the fathers day bit and have a lay around while she mowed the grass for him! Hopefully he recovered ready for work today.Even though Kelvin pulled the pin early ,he still took out his class as the other cars in this class all failed on the Sunday .147 Brian & Liz Edmonds 2nd, with Bradley Bishop and Sister Kylie in David Nikiforoff's 190 Car 3rd. Heyu struggled to a 3rd in clas 2 .With paul Hughes heading off with a broken gearbox to spend the rest of fathers day at home. Thanks to all the guys and girls that made it all happen,we do apreciate your efforts. Next working be is the weekend before Warialda. Come along and give a hand,if you know anyone with a truck that can give ahand give us a yell. The date for the WORKING BEE is 22nd/23rd September
