Here are some photos of a new car coming into Aus for a Queensland competitor. It is a GET chassis running and Albins box and a de-stroked to 6lt 454 it has a really short stroke but big bore rev's to 8500. It will be a weapon in his hands. He asked me to post them here but l will wait for him to say whose it is. I will post the build photos later and he did say it's code name is " FJ Holden "
The body work at the front looks very different. Is it going to race on the National scene, or mainly state rounds early on?
It has been built to run the nationals but l don't think it will until next year. He will test this year and l hope it will be at Gundy. The man who owns it has won at a national level and that is what this car has been built to do.
Is the rumour l here about the double T guys building 2 baja's true. If so where are the build photos l would like to see all the knowledge from the old man that is being used to build a great class 4.
Ah i see, i am a member so never noticed. it is not a full TT, it is all the parts i.e
front suspension (inc bulkhead, hubs, steering rack etc) rear suspension (inc housing, hubs, 40 spline axles etc) and the Y frame engine plate all the details can be found at Blitzkrieg's website.
don't know what class it will be aimed at but early-on was looking at class 1. Haven't checked the website for awhile but all the parts should have landed.
Foung this on youtube I am not sure whos car it is but its a new Jimco with a NSX Honda being tested and sent out to run at Finke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jp_zw_TPigA
I think it may be Andrew Pinto's new car? He ran a Honda motor, although his was turbo charges rather then supercharged. But I think there was a guy on the video at the testing part that looked like Andrew.

Hi Kev ' nothing wrong with your old rivi well nothing i cant sort out ' the only issues i have with it elbow room ' fractured it at warialda , and rear end travel ,I've pushed it to its limits
That car has been everywhere. I bought it in Kempsy and took it to Central Queensland, then moved to Melbourne and raced it. Moved back to Central Queensland and sold it to a guy in Brisbane then you bought it and took it back to NSW l guess. The new Rivmasta is a hot looking chassis does it come in two sizes, 1650 and Pro.
this doesn't spell the end for 241 in the 2012 season we intend to have to cars running with with my son Joshua taking the wheel of the old rivi so insuring many more seasons 241 . The new rivmasta chassis are simply excellent , from the quality of the fab to design and value for money ' cant be beaten . not sure if they are available in all buggy classes ' 1650 made to order ' pro c available but not sure about p'l ? ' but I'm sure if u wont it they'll make it
