I WAS A BENDIGO SWAP MEET ON THE WEEKEND (WELL DROVE DOWN FRIDAY MORNING AND DROVE BACK SUNDAY MORNING) DRIVING HOME THOUGHT ABOUT DIFFERENT RACES ON IN VICTORIA SEEN A SIGN OR SOMETHING ABOUT BAGSHOT THEN 5 MINUTES AGO JUST LOOKED AT THE CALENDER AND WHAT DID I SEE BAGSHOT WAS ON PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I MISSED SO WHEN WE GO TO BENDIGO SWAP MEET NEXT YEAR HOPEFULLY ITS ON THE SAME WEEKEND .SO IF WE DRIVE DOWN THERE AGAIN WE CAN TAKE THE BUGGY WITH US OR AT LEAST STOP AND HAVE A LOOK [spoiler]
Yes it was on. The Bendigo Car Club has ran the last round of the Mallee Shield on the same weekend as the swap meet for the last 2 years and next year it is again calendared on the swap weekend on the 15th and 16th November. The event was made up of 2 heats of 10 laps around a 5.5km track around the Bagshot Motorsports Complex, Rally sprints are also ran on the track, so the course at the begining of most events is very smooth and fast, suiting the smaller buggies and tin tops, but as with most of road tracks get rougher as the day goes on. Results and a brief on the event can be found on the Bendigo Car Club website (www.bendigocarclub.com.au) Event information was sent on to many web site administrators but unfortunately only a few put any information forward.
