After 2 years finally I have a car with a running engine, still can't drive it but maybe Santa will leave me the bits I need/want..

Has some exhaust leaks but off idle it sounds sweet, turn up your base for this one..

But it will be running on a carb for a while as I can't aford to EFI & finish the car atm.

Sure did here's the evidence.


As you can see from the last couple of photos it didn't all go according to plan it looks like the snap ring wasn't locked in properly. Up until then I was very please with how it was alll going.

Will be heading back out for another test day in a few weeks.

Up to that point I was extatic!!!! biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

The CAR was easy to drive didn't feel as big as it is, turned in and was easy to control in a slide. Suspension was working very well no where near as rough as the old Nissan. Apart from the lack of brakes I was very confident with the cars capabilities motor pulled hard, tranny was working well. It only bogged down a little in the sand even with a 4.11:1 final drive and 33" tyres.

I won't be able to get it sorted in time for Dondingalong but should be OK for Crookwell.

I will add a few more pictures later.
