Free FOA Shocks Competition

Any 2 Foa shocks from our current range, any length, valved to your requirments can be yours all you have to do is answer this post with a photo of your current ride be it be road, race or 4x4 and 50 words on how you think they might be able to help your performance.
There will be 3 judges myself, Chris from FOA and my 7 year old son Ben (a good photo will sway Bens vote) and the best post will win the shocks.
You are probably asking yourself whats the catch well there is only one the winner will have to pay for the freight from the USA and if you pick coilovers the springs are not included.
l can't wait to see the posts and anyone is eligable so start posting as the competition ends the end of January. You can check the range at

I think i deserve these two shockers as i have put up with you for the last 37 years (twin brother) and Ben should like the photo as he is in the car. It would help my performance as i need the extra suspension as i have your fat arse in the car with me.

l would like to say that l thought there would be a few people who would like to save up to $800 dollars on a pair of shocks it can be any car, new, old, being rebuilt whatever l just want to give these shocks to someone who would get some use out of them lets see some entries.

yeah i know i said i was going to buy some of these back in november but a good deal on a gearbox and some rear arms came up and now it's christmas so maybe  in feburary so i thought i would try my luck here as saving money on 2 out of the 6 required woul be good.

so here it goes as you will see from this pic of my buggy requires a quick coat of paint and some new shock and i be ready to gobiggrin.

The shocks will always be there mate l know when you need them you will contact me and 2 free shocks out of 6 would help with other parts. Good luck and you are the first entered because Offroad241's fat arse crack has ruled him out.

It's Christmas day, I have just opened my presents and there is not one "shock" to be seen. It seems that my Christmas wish list has been lost or the hint was too subtle.


Maybe this is my chance to get the best gift ever!

I think that new shocks on my old buggy would give it a new lift, and I could then really try to jump or fly.

We race a built LS2 powered 80 Series Landcruiser so we have the power, the standard off the shelf Raw 4x4 shocks are great, but we need something more to compete with the buggies. We run an 80 Series because its something different and so FOA would be great as they are different to the kings and fox which everybody runs

Trekka and everyone else out there it doesn't have to be a race car . It could be a tow vehical, 4x4, for a new project anything but the only thing l could ask is that they will be put to good use.

You could get your kids to do a drawing in crayon if you like it all counts, and l think you could do a lot worse than FOA'S on all 4 corners.

I race a nissan navara ute. I'm only 15 years old. I only get old parts off my dads car. I only race junior car. I don't have heaps of money to work on it. The front suspension in my car is rock hard but with some FOA shocks it can be heaps softer and I could start catching up to the older drivers at club rounds. The FOA shocks would be heaps better then the king shocks in my dads car.

Gday my name is Stuart and i race a holden ute mostly in the WAORC and occsionally in the AORC, these shocks would help achieve that final edge needed to win, i have had numerious seconds, thirds and fourths most notably my second in class for the WAORC in 2007. with funds in short supply all help is welcome.

I'm sure that some new shocks would improve the handling ability of my car. Still don't know what it would do for driving ability as doesn't appear as there is much of that.

Hi guys, and judges

My name is Jeremy , my currant car is a hunter rivmasta , running in the super 1650 class.
I'm currantly in the middle of a rear end rebuild ,and have found one of my yellow shocks starting with B, not working.plus i've also found  an extra 40mm wheel travel .
i've only competed in 2 events as a driver , but have done 8 years of naving for one of the the farstest class 2 in nsw , i know live in wa.
in my first race at the hyden humps i finished 2nd in class and 4th out right ,
in my second race  at harvey i finished 1st in class
so if you'd like F.O.A shocks to be on a car in the pointy end of the feild then i hope my car is that car
