The two are quite different by the size of them. The 930 is shadowed by the size of the 934, much the same wat as the 930 compared to the  kombi cv.
934's would be better for a class2 but their price is  prohihibatively expensive, with the 930 being and up to the task  and cheaper.
For a cheap source of 930 cv's check out early 5 and 7 series BMWs, but make sure you know what your looking at because they are a few variations with the cvs they came with.

yep, 930s. We used the Beemer ones too but got caught out. They are the same bolt pattern as the 930 but some of them are not as wide and if you put too much angle in them the balls pop out. If you're gonna use bmw get the wider ones.

BTW, we never broke either the porsche or beemer cvs. if you make sure they're well looked after they'll be fine even with a good hp 1600. As long as you're backing off over jumps etc anyway.... We stripped and regreased them after every race and used that bloody expensive grease in the black can, the name of which now escapes me.

ha wolf have you remembered that name of the grease , and where do you get it,
930 cv's will be fine in a 1650 , but make sure you have the super cages fitted, as they are normaly made from cromemoly , and the standard ones are mild still or similar.

If you have no luck at the wreckers try any of the Aus offroad suppliers. They should also be able to supply you with the right cages. BMP sponsor our main site, so I'd suggest you use them!
