When you test something, you are usually looking for an outcome or result. I observe, Being at the bottom of the ladder with dial up, because thats all that I can get, your webpage has slowed down a bit, maybe it is the photos at the top!!??
actually almighty... thats yours truly on only our 2nd event.... THough I feel obligated that although the tree finished our race on Sunday with me behind the wheel, Rick rolled it on Saturday! Of course being The Almighty you already knew that!
Maurie, the banner will slow it down a bit if its on dialup, but Im surprised that its noticable... We're paying a couple of bucks a month so I can do away with the advertising, I was hoping that the two would balance each other out. By mid next week a much smaller (in bytes) banner will be up there. let me know if the speed returns back to normal for you.

Maurie, have had a look into delay (and jumped on a dialup connection as well to see for myself.... what fun!... not!)
The latenency is actually in the forum itself as the programing builds and fills the array, not from formatting of the page - IE picture downloads, especially as ive cut down all the pic sizes before asking daneen to host them.
I've dropped the amount of threads per page, that means there is less info to be inserted into the array, hopefully that helps! let me know.
Dear WebMaster! Yes your efforts did result in a faster speed. Thank you for your interest. 190 hits for a test only topic, we are an inquisitive lot arn't we?
