25 entries so far and a good quality field which means there will be some very exciting racing as only Dondingalong Circuit can show. Lets imagine: Aaron McClintock, Doug McMillan, Phillip Page on the front row. Jimbo Kearle, Warren Upton, Scott McNeil on the second row. Justin Guy, Paul Tuck-Lee, Darren Stocks on the third row. Jeff Thomas, Derek Rose, Jeff Cripps on the fourth row. Can you imagine how that would look!!! These are just a few names that I have plucked out of the list as there are many more good drivers entered. Why not drive up and have a look if you can't enter.(Less than 3 hours from Newcastle) I will put up some results after Saturday and Sunday.
10 pm Saturday Spectacular racing with a total of 35 cars entered. Dust and mud, great stuff. Outright was: 1st 47 Tim Baker 2nd 83 Peter Skaza 3rd 114 Jimbo Kearle 4th 148 Phil Page 5th 136 Mick Latimore 6th 996 Murray Bignell 7th 331 Darren Perrin 8th 95 AARON McClintock 9th 212 Scott McNeil 10th 279 Derrek Rose. Off to bed, big day tomorrow.
Yep! I concur, thanks Maurie, for the update. Should be an interesting day of racing today.Sorry I couldn't be there, but at least the update lets us know what is happening.
OOPS I made a stupid simple mistake in the code of the program.
Outright now reads 1st Phillip Page. 2nd Aaron McClintock. 3rd Murray Bignell and Sportsman is now 1st Darren Perrin. 2nd Jeff Thomas. 3rd Gary Hyde.
I really apologise to those who were affected and we will rectify the trophies. New results will be posted out with the correct total times. The new version has been sent to the Championship scorer and OFFROADRACING
Great weekend up there at Dondingalong. Congratulations to all involved with the event, organisers and competitors. We benefited a little from others misfortune, but happy with our result.
Well done Phillip Page, great drive! showing he is still the man to beat in NSW. Bad luck to Jimbo, Skaza, The Bakers and my new mate Mick Latimore(funny how crashing into each other at races bring us closer together...) any of whom could have taken out the event.
