My forecast is that the weather will be cold...with a chance of sun/windburn, usual crookwell weather!! If it is raining, send it further west please. Unfortunately we will not be going, not even for a look....its our 10th wedding anniversary :) So goodluck to all involved. B.T.W. found that the buggy makes a good chookpen if you dont cover it up, found 4 eggs the other day, and swallows nesting in the roof!
When your travelling down Goulburn St, its left onto Northcott St, then a right onto Brooklands St and thats the road that the track is on. I think. haha

We had a hot and cold weekend (just like the weather). 1st outright in prologue followed by Jimbo Kearle and then Darren Stocks. The 6 speed Albins box suits that track (every track ?) perfectly. 1st heat - flat tyre 2nd heat - stub axle (Thanks to whoever it was that stopped our wheel before it went into the side of the Pajero.) 4th heat - axle and retire.
Congrats to the winners and also to the Crookwell club for a top weekend.

i have some pics of the tire coming off and about 3-4 pics of it flying in the air none of the guy tackeling it as i think my mate thought it may get him so he downed camera and leged it i will get them up shortly
What a great weekend we all had down at Crookwell. The weather was a bit on the cool side...however Jimbo still manged to get around in shorts and thongs!
Congratulations to Darren for a well deserved win, got a bit close in the end but he just pipped me in the last heat. Once again the pace setters were Skaza and Jimbo, unfortunately they had a few problems that put them out of the running.
Also well done to all the other competitors who finished the event, the Crookwell track is no walk in the park.
Its a shame there wasn't a few more cars down there, but you get that.
Thanks to all the people that helped us out with our continuing muffler repair, I think I bludged something from just about every trailer in the pits.
Unfortunately I wont get to Nabiac for the 4hr...sounds like fun, but we will be getting ready for Wittitrin in June.
