hi all, just looking at geting some extrators made, to suit my toyota 20 valve, and im a litte unsure about what lenght to make the primary tubes , i,ve cheaked a mate of mine's , he's are 25" long and 1 3/4" OD but his engine has had a fair bit of work done to it , mines still fairly standard , any suggestions ?

I thought the factory extractors were the ducks nuts? I do know that they are pretty good. Id be tempted to leave the factory ones there and just do the secondaries. Check with 2204, he knows more about this than me.
I'd be real wary about going 1.75", thats huuuuuge! You'll find yourself with lots of top end and nothing down low, esp with a fairly stock motor.

On our silvertop we always ran the factory extractors, they went back to twin pipes and then into a single pipe after that. We always found it to be pretty good, and the dyno results, etc were always quite good.
I talked to my dyno guy when i put the silver top in mine and he'd tried heaps of different sizes and lenghts and said don't waste your money, stick with the standard one, at most i would pick up one to two horse. so in my opinion i'd save your money and spend it on cleaning up the head, i made good power gains by simply porting and shaving the head, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS PUTTING THE C32A IN IT
