I don't think there is a maximum capacity but I'd be surprised that there would be any prolite that would drink enough to require a 120 litre tank. Mine's only that big as it was built at the end of the era when races were true enduro's and you had to refuel in your own time.

Thanks for that kick my dog. I had a 2006 manual which said. Under standing regulations 1.1 they are normally contested by 4th category automobiles , but may contested by 2nd and 3rd category. BUT in the 2008 book this section has gone. So we are the only motor racing sport that can do what we like with fuel capacity all other motor sport is max 120L. I will stay with the other motor sport rules its a safety thing in my eyes.
I know it's a prolite question, but fuel capacity is an interesting subject! Some buggies are only getting about 1km/ltr, and running 250ltr fuel tanks. Do we want to sit on, or beside, or between, or in front of 1 or 2 sticks of dynamite?
nerf bars - fair enough, ours are bigger than that anyway. Belts - we decided ours were buggered after we killed the rivvy - I thought everyone pretty much tossed their belts after big hits anyway? restrict hp - naaa... let em go. If someone has the $$$ to build the driveline to handle it then good luck to em! restrict tank? Im open to arguements for and against. Motor v chassis - its unpolicable, but common sense usually prevails here anyway.

I think the placement of nerf bars is as critical as the material they are made from. Cars these days are getting very long, and if you can fit a tree between the rear of the nerf bar and your wheel, you are going to do a lot of damage.
Easiest way to retsrict horsepower is to limit the amount of fuel you can carry.
Frames are under discussion from what I hear.
Slow if you made the nerf bars from 30mm x 2.5 they would be the strongest part of your car...
