So who might be going? What date is it on? Is it still on?
I am getting the chooks out of the car and having a run (first race in 16 months), might be a good prolite field if a few others pull their fingers out! (Slow, Ottey, Simpson, Nikiforoff, Jimbo...more?)
Was that a hint of Aztek running? (in his nabiac report) Maybe the Jarvi/Zettle car? Horsfalls? Crookwell clan? Whatever happened to the trucks they were building?
jones team subaru need to stick together to defeat the new menice VQ35 that threaten our throphy cabinets otteys thing sounds verrrry sharp ps my son is driving my car so i dont really care
yes jones this is the same son that crashed my new ute i was thinking of changing to an a arm car after xmas so we will see what happens i can only hope he dosnt hit anything big and your right we dont need the extra horsepower of the VERY Quick 3.5 vq35 yet
Crookwell, Crookwell, Crookwell! What about Colo in 2 weeks. The final State round, Top Gear Australia magazine up to do a story, DVD being made of the event, supporting Breast Cancer awareness and that great Colo atmosphere. Christ what else could you want?
I think thats a good idea Steve, I should get the all clear from the knee specialist this week so i should be able to get the 9 inch grinder out in a couple of weeks and start the rebuild
Matt martin racing will only be going to watch at crookwell. Car is not ready next year first race will be Nabiac 4 hour race on 22 february.

Not to worry slow, the nissan V6 would have only been put to shame in the prolites at crookwell...........might as well delay the embarassment for next year!
Will one of those nissans last 4 hours? Hondas certainly would'nt!
Hey Dusteater, is it OK to discuss crookwell now (that colo is over)? lol.
few more prolites for you to play with steven jimbo, ottey, and myself are ready to go after repairs to our cars ottey to soft to go to collo-jimbo bent valves -simpson blown gbox hope crookwell is bit cheaper on my wallet see you there sat for a drink
Wolf-why would I ever change? Yes, I am taking the egg basket! Are you taking your new buggy, or just taking photos of it.....does it really exist? 260, I think wolf 'gets it out to play with' too often!
Simpson, We'll be there saturday for a drink, I think you owe me some dont you? And dont take my camp spot on top of the hill (now that you,ve got the big gooseneck)
I hear Aztek might be racing solo?
Can we enter on the day, I dont have an entry form? (might need to ring Allports)
I beat Glen Spizzo!....oh, and won outright! Simpsons son rolled his car and damaged front shock towers. Ottey damaged a gearbox. Jimbo seized an engine. David Allport blew a diff. Mick Tori had wiring/computor problems. Bishop/ Nikiforoff broke a rear trailing arm. Spizzo had gearshift issues (did I mention I beat him?) I think Dixons were having CV problems, as did Paul Allport.
The track was quite rough, hence all the driveline failures. My car went well but still got overheating issues. I had the pleasure of three navigators, Reckell (wife), Aztek, and Simpson, and had a great weekend overall!
The usuals got drunk, I went to bed too early to see any nakedness, but the whole camp was kept awake with the noise from Swan, Werner, Reckell, and Ian Irons talking into the early morning.
We decided next year that any offroader with a musical instrument will be required to create a band for musical entertainment on saturday night, so far we have--
Wayne and Dan Horsfall---dueling banjos Dave Nikiforoff--trumpet Ned Horsfall--guitar David Page--guitar Steve Taylor--flugal horn Anthony Lia--drums Mick Tori--drums Dick Allport--drums Myself--alto saxophone
Anyone interested please let me know, we need to start on a playlist so we can all practice the songs for next year (a years practice should be plenty). Everyone is welcome to join the band, (even talented people). Still need to work out a name though!
