Also guys you will NOT be requireing a stadium licence for this event. There will be entertainment on sunday at one of the bars and a more family friendly area at the other. There has been a lot of interest entry wise and is shapeing up to be an awsome event
It was a fantastic weekend up at Echo Valley. Saturday was washed out after heavy rain but the quality of racing on Sunday more than made up for it.
The event was won by Ryan Taylor in his mid engined V8 Razorback A-Arm Chassis (built by James Madden), with his Dad, Nev Taylor (Chevy Jimco) picking up second outright and Chris Western (Offroad Rush Sthn Cross) taking third.
Dallas Reading won the Super 1650 class, Ben De Brueys won the Production 4WD Class in the high flying Jeep and Tony Brose was all conquering in the silver Sierra.
The black truck in the pics is Matt Attards new Extreme 2WD, driven by Wayne Attard on the day. It was retired during heat 3 after a roll over.
As always it was a top event put on by the Blackflag Motorsports crew and it was also great to see sponsors like Rockstar Energy Drinks and Mickey Thompson involved with offroad racing.
Look out for full coverage in the March Dirtcomp Mag.
Hey Randall, nice photos sorry for not crediting them to you originally. Must have been strange shooting your old car ? when are 4wd tv planning on putting it to air ? Love your mag keep up the awsome work.
It was a bit odd seeing it go around without Heather or I behind the wheel. But Jared who now owns it drove really well and was hot on the heels of Fittler most of the time, which was great.
I'll be keeping in touch with the guys from 4WDTV and will post up here when it is due to go to air.
