Well, its definately getting close at the top!  Dan's rather abysmal picks (same points as me so Im allowed to say it! haha!) have definately allowed the gap to close as Magila, proud moustache wearer, continues his streak and has come barnstorming up the table to be just one point behind in 2nd!  Jones has pulled a rabbit out too - gonna make the final round verrrrry interesting.  :)

For those of us languishing towards the bottom:

Note that our own competition sponsor is running in the wooden spoon position! THe fight is on between trekka and BT to avoid the bottom of the ladder... who will gain bragging rights in the final round, who will not suffer the indignity - nay, the shame - of finishing as the last competitor to complete all rounds...  hehe.  :)  Mind you, there are quite a few of us who could still technically finish last...

I have to go for a few outsiders, afterall, I can't win my own prize!!! Is that a god enough excuse? it was the best I could come up with after half a day...

I was looking pretty good with my tips but for a few hiccups. Glenn Owen was second in the prologue, beaten only by one of the best drives I have ever seen. He was then running well in second position until the shaft holding one of the throttle butterflys broke, sending a screw through the engine and putting them out. I also had Trav Robinson in there for third and he was right on track until 10km's from the finish when a fuel pump relay failed. And Matt Hanson had a great drive first time back in the repaired Porter, but didn't quite have the pace on the weekend. That will change though when he gets some more time in the car, which look sfantastic in the new colours.

Don't feel bad Trekka, Trav has been soundly abusing me because I keep tipping him for third. I don't think there was anything wrong with the car - he chose to throw away third to teach me a lesson!

Not sure on that, he was pretty annoyed when he finished :) The team had a tough day, with Beau having only two gears to choose from for most of the day (2nd and 4th).

haha yeah thats it dan, yer after having my pumper fail and then my intercom plus cv issues i thought my day couldnt get any worse haha but it did, its hard enough trying to run with dave and shan with out problems, here comes gundi i spose

I don't want to say too much as I don't know all of the details.  There was an incident on Saturday during the top four shoot out between Buddy and James (?) Copeland.  There was also alledgedly something that happened in the pits afterwards.  As I said, I don't know the details, and I believe that it may be the subject of an appeal so I don't want to say anything that may cause any problems with that.

Well peeps, the entry list is here.  Get your tips in!

The top 10 is seperated by only 10 points. Dan and Magila at the top seperated by only 1 point! Jones is breathing down their neck and you cant discount slow...

Will Magila continue his streak?  Will slow jump out of the blocks to win it? Will wolf actually get double digit points at all this year? (probably not!)

With a framed poster with a pic of your choice up for grabs from Sunphoto this is NOT just about bragging rights... Its about bragging rights for superior shed decoration!!!!!

*edit* just checked last years results...  seems Magila only got 1 point for Gundy last year!
