i have merge all of the 2009 tipping comp into this threat so you can see who won what last year may give you a hand to win.



Hey all,

The Sunphoto Tipping Comp will be kicking off once the Hyden entry list is released.

Points breakdown will be:

1st 6pts
2nd 5pts
3rd 4
4th 3
5th 2

plus 1 point for every car in the top 5 regardless of order,
plus 1 point for picking the shootout winner or fastest prologue if no shootout.

It'll be open to anyone.  Except Slow. 

Sean, jump in and tell them what they (by they I mean me!) will win!!!!!

The winner will get to choose a picture from the many that are available on my website, and they will then receive that print in approximately 13" x 19" size, framed, etc in a frame that they can also choose from those that I have available to choose from. The print can be of their own vehicle, or of their favourite drivers vehicle, etc.

This item usually sell for $125.


Also, as an added bonus, and something that hasn't been mentioned before, the 2nd and 3rd placegetters will have their choice of pictures to be printed on top of the range A3 size photo quality paper. This won't be framed, but tht can be arranged if the winners choose to look at that option.

If I can get some good support throughout the year with sales, etc, I would also like to offer a small prize to the winner of each round of one A4 sized full glossy print of their choice. Once again, no frame, but that can be arranged if required for a small cost. In the case of a tie for the winner of each round, we might be able to work out some sort of countback system or something. Pehaps you can help me with this Wolf?

No dramas at all mate, I'll write it into the dbase.

Might be a drama if there's a tie in the first round, nothing to count back to! Mind you, if Slow is tied for first with Hyden he probably deserves it after last year's freakish performance... :)

Well tipsters, the 2009 Sunphoto Tipping Competition is upon us!

The competitor list for Hyden has been released here, mind you I reckon there'll be more entries than this, as its still a month before the event.

Once again points will be split as:
1st - 6pts
2nd - 5pts
3rd - 4pts
4th - 3pts
5th - 2pts
Plus 1 point for each car in the top five regardless of position.
One bonus point for picking the winner of the shootout/pole qualifier.

Prizes supplied by Sunphoto are described here.
