results are very slow to come through but I am very happy to say car 405 has made it to Finke on her maiden voyage.

Well we're standing at the start finish waiting for paul to come through, fellows thru first, burrows second, daylight to beau robinson has just come thru for third.
We went out just this side of deep well yesterday after going into a dip and smashing the car into the otheerside. After a loooooong time in the air it came down on its nose, turned right and went thru a fence and mowed down a grove of trees bending the front end. We carried on but a slow 10k down the road the top arm broke. We patched it using the spare steering arm, cable ties and a roll of racer tape but got caught by the sweep vehicle.

Oh well, we'll be back!!!!

Geoff roe has just crossed 4th outright, terry rose is about to cross for 5th.

Haven't heard anything about paul yet, there's been no call over the pa so were assuming he's on the way in.

Talk about carnage though, can't believe the amount of cars out of the event.

Swan did an axle, we saw him when we were heading in to get paul. Paul was delayed early after tossing a fan belt, got going again and ended out suffering a suspension failure.

We're back at the campsite getting ready to head out to presentation (sitting around drinking). :). Kevs not pissed at the moment!

l would just like to say that it is hard to deal with a rebuild after a rollover during a championship but the reports that said that Brad Prouts brand new car burnt to the ground after it rolled must be heart breaking for him. All the best to Brad and crew for the rebuild process and l am glad no one was injured in the accident.

No rollover, just flat knacker on the road stretch when he got contacted by crofty in the chopper to hit the fire bomb and bail. Fire bomb didn't go off and he was getting out just as the flames were wrapping around the cab.

I have only met Brad on a couple of occasions in person, and he has always been great to talk to, always given plenty of time to chat, etc. I wouldn't like to see this happen to anyone, but to see it happen to a good bloke is even worse.

I was wondering if he had a fire bomb. Would be even more heartbreaking to know you have done the right thing by having it installed, etc and then it doesn't work.

Seen the pics last night of Brads car on fire, gotta suck to stand there and watch it burn.
But a car is replaceable, he is lucky he got out of there in time.
